The Civil Design Software for Roads Networks development team is pleased to announce the availability of OpenRoads ConceptStation CONNECT Edition Update 16 (10.00.16.84). This software offers roadway and bridge design capabilities to help road and land development engineers create intelligent models in context, explore conceptual design options with real-world data, and perform cost analysis to improve project results.
Update 16 contains the following enhancements.
– Furniture Quantities: ConceptStation will now calculate furniture quantities and costs.
– Optimization of Corridor Cut/Fill Volumes: Balance corridor cut/fill using user defined road width and cut/fill slopes for optimized profile.
– Culvert Modification Capabilities: Ability to edit culvert inlet/exit locations and skew angles.
– Culvert Hydraulic Analysis: Ability to analyze culverts based upon flow.
– Drainage Network Creation and Analysis for Urban Roads: Automated inlet layout based on road slope. Includes catchments, analysis and pipe sizing based on intensities.
