In this tutorial, we are going to cover all the updates enhancement of Part Design tool in CATIA V5-6 release 2020.
– The new updates to thickness definition enable us to propagate multiple surfaces at a time.
– There is two new option in Shell toolbar Propagate faces to remove & Propagate other thickness faces.
– Edge fillet now allows us to trim the surface by selecting vertices or regular plane surfaces and limit the fillet edge.
– The last update is track creation in Edge fillet. Select the points, give values to each point then trim the edges and tracks will be created in the history tree. This tracks can be used for the future design process.
